WWII DESERTERS
You will here find files with a short (English, German, Danish and Swedish) version of my (English and Danish language) book about the ‘forgotten’ 50 000 German deserters and war resisters from the second world war. Reading this short story (and even better the book) will give you an idea about what a huge betrayal these young vilified heroes faced from their own post-war society and from the rest of the world. Apart from this book they are hardly mentioned in the gigantic number of literature dealing with this the world’s biggest ever catastrophe. What a shame. What a disgrace.
